I am a single father of a three year old,currently going through a divorce.She decided that she wanted to experience "the feeling you get with a new relationship" and literally packed up her stuff and our son and left. She stuck me with and $800 rent,$300 car bill,insurance,gas,phone,and daycare. I was let go from my well paying job due to lack of performance which was due to the stress of the situation i was in.
She has been nothing but difficult since. Child support now leaves me with a little over $100 a week in my paychecks. My car was repossed and my license was suspended because i couldn't afford to pay for insurance. I now have a $500 fine and also need to get a car,but it's impossible for me to even pay the rent and utilities some months,much less pay those off and get ahead.
I know that a car is the key to getting out of this horrible situation. With a license and car (someone i work with offered to sell me theirs for $500.well well below book value) i would be able to find a job that pays much better again and show the court that i am a capable adult that should be awarded custody over the mother,who basically just uses our son as a paycheck. Where as i love him and try to teach him to be a good person.
